ebay flyer descriptions don't always indicate which version -- so in the guide, where possible, versions are listed separately with differences indicated -- eg "MTV" for Woodstock 2, "M8" for Fantazia Big Bang, or "preflyer" etc

for flyers such as the Book of Love (different inner background colours), Future Myth VI (different flips), and Equinix Summer Solstice (different sizes) i assume it's the version that's usually either cheapest or commonest unless the description makes clear otherwise

haven't had to deal yet with problems where there's a second print run with slightly different colours, or where there's a noticeable difference in colour between the start and end of a long print run -- not to mention the occasional misprints, misalignments, or when the flip hasn't been printed

i used to hang out at an offset litho press and we'd apply different colour inks by hand directly on to the end rollers to give every page a unique psychedelic 'rainbow' effect -- i suspect something equivalent may have happened with the 24th November 1990 Redemption flyer - i've not yet seen 2 copies with exactly the same colours :)

but getting back to that Vibealite flyer -- as it was being sold with lots of valuable free goodies (tapes and CDs), it won't be going in the guide this time round -- however presuming there's no simple way of removing the black marker pen cover-up, and as this was done by the promoters, then it makes sense to list it separately in the guide if it gets sold again -- (current entry for the standard flyer has "amended" in description and pic shows amended flip)

anyway if anyone comes across entries in the guide where the version isn't indicated then pls let me know
